ANCOP is an acronym for ANSWERING THE CRY OF THE POOR.
It is a program founded by Couples for Christ, now a duly registered entity under the name CFC ANCOP-TEKTON FOUNDATION, INC., and was made for the purpose of consolidating CFC efforts in BUILDING THE CHURCH OF THE POOR.
ANCOP is a licensed Social Welfare Agency by the Department of Social Welfare & Development.
During the recollection, team-building and planning held last November 29, 30 and December 1, 2010, the CFC ANCOP team, volunteers and CFC leaders revisited the ANCOP Vision and Mission. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the able facilitation of Bro Pito de Castro of Cebu, the group came up with a more streamlined Vision and Mission.
